Cheryl Smith serves as the Grade 3/4 teacher at Innova. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Christian Education, primary/junior, with U.S. qualifications in Grades 7-12 English, and a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction at Roberts Wesleyan College, New York. Cheryl’s classroom experience includes supply teaching in elementary, teaching preschool, Grades 2 and 4, and Grades 7-10 English. Cheryl managed a local tutoring franchise before joining Innova. Her areas of service include teaching Sunday school, choir, directing the children’s choir and drama team, Bible study and song leader for Community Bible Study International, as well as directing a fine arts program. Cheryl also serves on the welcome committee and as a community dinner server at her church. Cheryl enjoys reading historical fiction, travel and loves to bake and entertain. Similarly, she enjoys doing things with her husband, family, and friends such as crafting, fitness, table games, crosswords and Sudoku.
