She began teaching high school in the public system 33 years ago and in that time retired for 9 years to raise her family. Sue has taught Grades 9 through 12 Mathematics, Science, Biology and Environmental Science. For many years Sue has supervised both Food 4 Thought, a feeding program for local elementary schools, and Youth Alive, a high school Christian Fellowship. She enjoys serving in the Children’s Ministry of her church and hosts an adult Bible Study in her home. In her youth, Sue was very active in Christian summer camp ministry. Sue treasures the time she spends with her husband and two grown children. In her free time, she can often be found outdoors engaged in her favourite pastimes: walking, cycling and kayaking. She also enjoys thrift store shopping, cooking, crafting and reading. Sue is very excited and blessed to serve at Innova Academy! She is looking forward to sharing God’s love with her students as she shares her passion for math.
