Craig Mooi

6-12 Science

Craig Mooi graduated from Queen’s University’s Concurrent Education Program with an Honours in Biology. He also holds Additional Qualifications in Math, Science, and Communication Needs (Learning Disabilities). Craig went on to teach in Seoul, South Korea through a missionary organization called the Network of International Christian Schools. Craig has taught in public and private schools at variety of levels including: Grade 4 homeroom, Middle School Science, Math, Technology, Physical Education, and High School Chemistry. Most recently, Craig has served as the Pastor of Student Ministries at LifeHouse Community Church since 2022. 

When Craig is not teaching, he is trying to make memories with his family or play/coach volleyball. Craig was the head coach at his previous school and had several championship seasons. His highlight was always the mentorship and discipleship that is intertwined with sport. The emotions that come with competition are amazing teachable moments and opportunities to reflect Christ in our conduct. 

While in Seoul, Craig met his wife, Amy, who will also be teaching Physical Education and Health at Innova. They have 2 amazing boys. A fun fact is that every member of the family is born on a different continent. The Mooi family is truly international and blessed to see how God is working around the world.
